Be my housemate this school year!

I'm a 39 year old single woman living at my late grandmother's beautiful home in Tunbridge while I execute her estate.

Just 15 minutes' drive to VLGS, through the village of Tunbridge.

Yours is a spacious,... furnished upstairs room with a lovely view, skylight, in-window AC, and baseboard heat/space-heater. Mini-fridge/freezer and coffee-maker. Sizeable closet. Attached private bathroom. Plenty of extra garage/cellar storage.

We share the kitchen and eating/living areas. I'm happy to share meals if you're interested and happy to leave you to your own devices if you prefer!

The property is an outdoors person's dream. Extensive walking or cross country skiing trails are literally out the back door. Large front porch, garden, plum and apple trees, and a skate-able/swimmable pond full of wildlife. Great birding!

Also at the house is a great room/living room with large dining table, fireplace, comfy chairs and a piano.

Challenges- access from Hoyt Hill Road is a short stretch of class 4 drive, so all wheel drive is necessary at times during the winter and mud seasons.

Like many local properties, we're on a septic system and drilled well- so no hour long showers during dry stretches of weather!

I am working to repair the old but sturdy washing machine but for now I do laundry at a laundromat in Bethel. If you want, I will be glad to take yours along with mine!

Satellite-based Internet is high-speed and very reliable- during heavy storms it gets spotty for a minute or two, but last fall/winter this only happened a few times.

I love pets though I don't currently have any here. Let me know if you have an animal and I will offer a pet lease!
