This house is partially furnished and sits on Route 14, about a mile from Vermont Law and Graduate School. Parking is in the circular, paved driveway. There is a workshop in the barn with separate access and tenents. This is a single family house... attached to a common entry room. This common entry is the laundry which is shared with the attached barn tenents. There are two large bedrooms upstairs with one full bath room. Sweeping views are to the river. One Queen bed, one single bed and one double bed: one bed per room. All bedrooms have large closets. This property is a quaint historic farmhouse with mixed and matched furniture It is not handicap friendly. Porches have stairs and entryway has stairs and upstairs staircase is narrow. The granite stepping stones from driveway to the front door is uneven. There is the historic front door accessed by crossing the grassy yard. Main floor includes kitchen, dining room, living room and bedroom with 3/4 bath. Off the living room is a three season enclosed sunroom porch (8'x 25') with sweeping views of the White River which borders the acre of property between the house and river. There is private access to the river. This house is perfect for a family with children or friendly roommates. Pets will upset the wildlife that crosses the property; moose, deer, fishers, river otters, and birds have been observed here. The main drawback of this house are the low ceilings. Main floor ceilings are 7 1/2 feet high and upstairs they are 6 1/2' high. There is highway noise. The house has three heat sources: *Propane central hot water heat ($4200/winter season approximately) propane not included in rent *Heat pumps on main floor run efficiently almost year round-this heating and cooling uses electricity (electricity included in rent) *Wood stove in main floor bedroom/office *Gas "wood stove looking stove in living room" uses propane. Chairs, couch and end-tables and patio furniture. Kitchen has double sink, gas stove, dish washer and efficient medium size refrigerator. Trash and recycle bins included. Kitchen was remodeled five years ago. Pantry and cleaning closet in kitchen, vacuum and broom included. TV not included.
