Up for rent is a studio apartment on the second floor of our house that was originally a barn built in the 1800s. Located up an old dirt road in the hills of Bethel VT, sitting on approximately 50 acres with 180 degree view of the beautiful Green... mountains with an approximate 15 minute drive to the Vermont Law School, sits our farm that has been in the family since the 1950s. Over the years many renovations have taken place allowing us to house Law students since the early 90s. Approximately 280 Square feet the studio comes furnished with a bed, wardrobe, nightstands, table and chairs. A four burner gas stove, refrigerator and sink are the appliances within the studio. A bathroom and Shower (In their own separate rooms) are to be shared by both studios on the second floor, as well as a common hallway and staircases. Laundry room is in the basement and is shared by all tenants The other studio apartment on the second floor is currently being occupied by a female renter and would prefer another female to rent the other studio with the shared bathroom. The apartment is non smoking but a designated patio can be used for recreational use. We are looking for somebody light footed and quiet as the upstairs is very audible from bellow. Pets are at Landlords discretion. The monthly rent is $950.00 dollars with an initial security deposit of $500 dollars. This includes gas, heat, electric, trash removal, snow removal, parking, and laundry. High speed internet available and cost is divided by number of occupants in the building, typically $20.00. There is parking available for 1 vehicle and space for temporary visitors. Storage is available for other personnel belonging if needed. Tenant will have access to all 50 acres of fields and woods as well as a poolroom/lounge and outdoor patio recreational area. Farm animals such as Alpacas are also on the property and people friendly. This being a farm there are occasional loud activities (Tractors, Excavators, UTVs extra) that can take place. It is also recommended that a car with 4x4, all wheel drive or good winter tires as the road in the winter/ mud season can be challenging.
